Being the last weekend of January 2022, some of the top artists in the country released new songs to put their mark on the first month of the year. A good number of established artists in the country have started the year on a high note with top hit songs. Here are some of the hits that were dropped over the weekend by Kenyan artists:

Chris Kaiga ‘Adventures of Chris Kaiga’ Album
Renowned Kenyan musician Chris Kaiga released a new album dubbed ‘Adventures of Chris Kaiga’ over the weekend. The album has 8 hit songs and has featured some of the top stars from the Kenyan music industry. Some of the top names featured on the album include; Nyashinski, Fena Gitu, and Mutoriah.

Naiboi teamed up with Femi One on ‘Jam’. The song which is about partying and enjoying good music will get revelers on their feet. 3 days after its release, ‘Jam’ is still on the list of trending songs on YouTube. The video has a good sense of humor and has featured renowned comedian Padi Wubonn.
‘Te Amo’ - Prince Indah
Celebrated Kenyan Ohangla musician Prince Indah released a new song dubbed ‘Te Amo’ on Sunday. ‘Te Amo’ is a love song where Prince Indah showers his partner with praise, noting that no one compares to her. He notes that before meeting her, he thought he had seen all the beautiful women, but her beauty stands out.
20 hours after its release, the song is trending at number 14 on YouTube with over 100,000 views.
