Afro-Highlife artist KiDi has advised new crop of artists hoping to break through the Ghana music scene to seek the services of a professional team as they are vital in the success of their musical endeavours.

Speaking in an interview with Citi TV, the self-acclaimed Golden Boy' said that as much as an artist tries they can't stand alone in regards to the music business thus they require a team to take care of other things while the artists solely focus on their craft.

'You need a team. I can't emphasize enough how important a team is. Because as an artist you can't do it all alone. Using the mind you are meant to use in the studio to create to go after radio and TV stations is tough."

He further highlighted the importance of self-realization before embarking on one's musical journey. He stated that one needs to grow tough skin as the music scene is a challenging place to be in.

'There is a formula but there is no formula (to succeed in the industry) First of all,I tell people, you need to always identify if this is what you really were meant to do.' he concluded.
