King Illest Steers off Beef with El-zy Pall20, Promises to Revive Zed Hip-Hop Culture

Days after Tonga Trapper El-zy Pall20 sparked musical rivalry between him and King Illest, the flashy rapper from the south has responded.

King Illest says that this year, he is bringing back sanity and more flavor in the industry. The ‘Bakalala’ hit maker says that he is all about bringing the hip-hop culture back arguing that Zed hip-hop artists are too comfortable.

“Am about to bring the real hip hop culture back, y’all rappers been comfortable too long ..Am back in my element,” he wrote on Facebook.

For a while now, no controversy has been heard about King Illest Worldwide but fellow Tonga Trap star El-zy Pall20 is the man stirring loads of beef with the flashy rapper. Apparently, El-zy Pall20 told King Illest that he needed to ask for permission to enter Copper Belt.

Pall20 took to social media and said he’d disrupting King Illest’s interview at Sun FM Zambia, saying the self-proclaimed king needed his permission to enter Copperbelt.

“No Tonga rapper comes to Kopala without a SAGA passport!! And now you want radio time??? That's very disrespectful iwee!!! Ecco cilatondwa maningi!! 88.5 am flooding your gates tomorrow!! he posted on Facebook.

Following the incident, King Illest reportedly did not show up for his Sun FM interview on Saturday. It is not yet clear if the Tonga rapper backed out after El-zy Pall20’s threats or he had other commitments.
