The rapper was one of the top trending artists back in the day, but relocated to the UK for a better life. Despite being away, his music is still relevant in the country.

Speaking during a Skype interview with NBS After5, Don MC revealed that he has made enough connections especially in the media that help him distribute his music.

"I am still an artist in Uganda. Although people think I spend most of my time this side, I travel a lot back home. I made connections so it's very easy to record a song and release it because I know who to call. I know people in the media so the moment I want to release an audio or video, I make the call. If not, I will just fly back to Uganda,” he opined.

Ugandans have had like three major shows in the UK but Don MC has not performed in any. He says he is working on building his catalogue before performing.

"I'm not performing at the moment because I want to release new music to enable me to get content to give my fans at the shows. I don't want to step on stage and sing old songs; that's why I don't perform. I'm going to start performing this year because I'm releasing a number of new songs," he said.
