Cassper Nyovest Labels A-Reece’s Fans Delusional

Cassper Nyovest is one of the few rappers in Mzansi who can credibly claim to have a committed fan base, and a big one at that. He brags about it all of the time.

Nonetheless, A-Reece, who was one of his main opponents for the Artist Of The Decade Award at the SAHHA, demonstrated how important fans are in the rap culture not just for concerts and other public performances.

There was a lot of hope amongst A-Reece supporters (the Slimes) that the Pretoria-based rapper would beat Cassper to the Artist Of The Decade Award. As if that wasn't enough, they also believed that A-Reece has superior defensive ability when compared to Cassper.

Despite their outspokenness, Cassper Nyovest recently declared that A- Reece's supporters have the most erroneous belief in the South African hip hop scene. One of Cassper's fans stated on Twitter that A-Reece is the reason why the rapper came out of his cubicle, and the rapper responded by saying that they had the most "delusional" fan base.

“The A-REECE effect finally made you come out the closet huh …anyways come out with your whack bars so the streets can know who’s the real King of SA Hip Hop.

“And the most delusional fan base in the world goes to.……..,” Cassper responded.

A-Reece and Cassper’s beef has been dragging for a while now. The conflict began when A-Reece chose to confront Cassper following his BET Cypher freestyle in which he reportedly took jabs at Mufasa.
