Representing Christ to the fullest, Kubamba Krew have launched the first gospel music video awards in East Africa; KMVA, to celebrate the growth and excellence in Gospel music.
KMVA is born from Kubamba, a Gospel music show on Citizen TV. It will be annual with the 1st edition set to take place on the 15th of December 2013 and will be aired live on TV.
The categories will include:
Dancehall/ Reggae Video of the Year
Worship Video of the Year
Hip hop Video of the Year
Techno/House/Dance Video of the Year
African Diaspora Video of the Year
Video with Social Message of the Year
Cinematographer of the Year
TV Commercial of the Year
Best Cultural Video of the Year
Best Female Video of the Year
Best Male Video of the Year
Best Choreography in Music Video
Best Story-Line Video of the Year
Best New Comer Video of the Year
The Gospel music industry is growing rapidly and I must give it up to Kubamba Krew for holding it down and supporting Christ’s work in spreading the good news to the masses.
We give credit where it’s due and this is one very great idea especially in celebrating gospel music.
