2021 has be a great musical year in Uganda as artists dropped hundreds of songs. Despite the challenges occasioned by the pandemic, artists gave us a reason to smile and have fun, even though concerts are still banned. Weekend - Eddy Kenzo

‘Weekend’ was the first song released off Eddy Kenzo’s new album Made In Africa. It's a feel good song that evokes good vibes for party lovers. The song has 4.4 million views on YouTube in six months.


Sango - Martha Mukisa & Eddy Kenzo

Martha Mukisa credits her management for helping her secure this top collaboration which she says became a blessing to her. It is arguably one of the best collabos of 2021 with four million views in 9 months.


Nalonda Nemala - Pallaso

The video was shot by Orlando Da Costa of The Coast Productions in Zanzibar. The great video made ‘Nalonda Nemala’ a must-watch project.  The song topped different music charts across the country and currently has 2.2million views on YouTube.

Body - Nince Henry X Spice Diana

Nince Henry and Spice Diana make you fall in love with the smooth and soft lyrics. The soft beats and love lyrics will send the adrenaline and chills all over the body. The song is perfect for couples who wish to make their feelings known towards each other. It has 2.1M views on YouTube.


Boy Fire - Sheebah Karungi and Selecta Jeff

In 'Boy Fire', the Team No Sleep singer delights in the way her man handles her asking for 'more fire'. Released 7 months back, the video has 2.1M views.


Slow Dancing - Azawi

‘Slow Dancing’ may have been released recently, but it is among the most played Ugandan songs on YouTube with 2M views. This masterpiece is a perfect blend of Afro-beat and Reggae. The lyrics were written by Azawi.


Obangaina - Ykee Benda

If you enjoyed Magoola's version, you will definitely fall for Ykee Benda's rendition as he brings it back to life with the unique beats and guitars from Myco Ouma. The video stands at 1.7M views.


Nkutuse - Sheebah

The visuals were shot in the wilderness and the green scenery made it more beautiful. Known for her high sense of style, Sheebah Karungi doesn't disappoint as she comes through in different revealing outfits making her look more fabulous and classy. It has 1.6M views.


Thank God - Vinka

Vinka returned from her music break with this jam that stands at 1.4M views in 3 months. The Afro-pop track was produced by Tanzanian producer Lizer from Wasafi Records.


Ready Spice Diana ft. Fik Fameica

'Ready' has been appreciated by music lovers. The jam dominated charts locally and made its debut on Mdundo Top Weekly Chart at number three ahead of artists like Simi and JoeBoy. It has 1.4M views.


Banange - Ykee Benda & Lydia Jazmine

The song got people talking because of the chemistry between the two artists.  Speaking on how they linked up, Ykee said they first became friends before hitting the studio. The video has 1.2M views.
