Amaarae's 'Sad Girlz Luv Money' Debuts on Billboard Hot 100

Ghanaian-American recording artist and producer, Amaarae has just scored a milestone in her music career as her single 'Sad Girlz  Luv Money' debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The single which secured the 80th spot on the Weekly Chart is a collaborative effort of Amaarae, Molly & American songstress, Kali Uchi. She is Ghana's first artist to be featured on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

According to a tweet by the official Billboard chart account, the record has earned Amaarae and Moliy their first career entries on the chart.

“I stand for African women before I stand for anything else. I’m just trying to free the girls, for real. Every milestone is a shared victory, and another door kicked in for us,” Amaraee said in a tweet expressing her excitement on the news.
