King Promise bags MOBO Awards 2021 Nomination

Ghanaian highlife and Afrobeat star King Promise has earned an international awards nomination.
The Slow Down crooner who's officially known as Gregory Bortey Newman has earned a MOBO Awards 2021 nomination and he's the only Ghanaian who got a nomination. King Promise will be going head to head with Nigeria's elite acts, Burna Boy, CKay, Davido, Rema, Tems, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr and U.K based NSG in the Best African Music Act Category.

Music of Black Origin (MOBO) is an annual UK's epic celebration of Black Music and Culture. Held since 1996, the award honours achievements in 'music of black origin '. Inclusion of an array of genres from hip-hop, soul, R&B, Reggae, gospel, jazz, African Music to the latest appreciation of Drill music.
This year's event is set to occur on the 5th of December at Coventry CBS Area and will be streamed live on YouTube.
