This is not the first time B2C is being nominated in these international awards, unfortunately, the trio has never won any.

Speaking during an interview with Galaxy FM, the boys (Mr. Lee, Bobby Lash & Delivad) called upon their colleagues in the industry to rally votes for them because they are representing the entire Ugandan music scene.

"We need to show solidarity and it's up to you as an artist to be happy for us and post us to show that you are standing with us. We call upon artists to support us. This nomination is not ours alone but it's for the whole music industry. We need each other, please push us to bring these awards home,” Mr. Lee said.

The 'Gutamiiza' hit makers believe winning the award will help the local music industry get on the world map, thus more opportunities.

"If you vote and we win, we get excited because Uganda is put on the map. Many people complain as to why our local music doesn't penetrate yet when we get these chances, we don't utilize them fully. Uganda alone is enough to bring the award home," the group said.
