Rich Bizzy ft Maparra A Jazz
If you ever wondered what a Zambian Amapiano version sounds like, ‘Pambale’ by Rich Bizzy featuring South Africa’s yano king Mapara A Jazz should answer all your questions. ‘Pambale’ also features other members of the John Vuli Gate Crew besides the Acclaimed Mapara A Jazz. Other South African artists featured include Ntosh Gazi, and Pearlysane. It is the first of its kind in Zambia while it is a mainstay genre in South Africa.
Ruff Kid ft Emtee
Ruff Kid is stepping up in his game this year and his new hit ‘Banja’ featuring South African rapper Emtee is worth talking about. What’s intriguing about this new development is that Ruff Kid spent a fortune on the song’s music video. While speaking to Power FM, he revealed that ‘Banja’ cost him K200,000 ($12,000). ‘Banja’ is a Zambian word that loosely translates to family. The song’s theme is centered around the love, dedication and sacrifices for a family.
Macky 2 ft AKA
It is the biggest collabo yet for Zambians. Macky 2 released ‘Beautiful Night’ featuring AKA who is among the top 20 best rated rappers in South Africa. The song is a sensation and lives up to its title ‘Beautiful Night’.
Slap Dee ft Cassper Nyovest
Slap Dee released a new hit featuring Cassper Nyovest dubbed ‘Righteous’ in October following AFRIMA award controversy pitting him against Zambians. ‘Righteous’ is a different sound and tune for both artists who have won accolades as dope rappers.
