KiDi Opens Up On Why King’s Promise Verse Was Removed From His Song ‘Enjoyment’

Ghanaian Hiplife star, KiDi has come forth to share the decision by King Promise's management to chunk out his verse on the record 'Enjoyment'.

The ‘Touch It’ crooner mentioned that as opposed to fans speculations of a feud between the two acts that the decision was profoundly made solely by King Promise’s management.

Speaking in an interview with UTV’s United Showbiz, the self-proclaimed ‘Sugar Daddy’ said the situation was beyond him. KiDi revealed that soon after recording the single, King Promise's management demanded  his verse to be taken out. 

‘What happened went beyond KiDi and King Promise. It was between our managements wanting the best for their artists. After recording the song, King Promise’s management ordered that his verse should be taken off the song. Till date, we don’t have reasons for that but we accept it in good faith.’

Irrespective of this, both Kidi and King Promise continue to maintain a cordial relationship irrespective of their management actions.
