Ghanaian singer and songwriter Peter Famiyeh Bozah popularly known as Fameye has recently been levelled up to 'Wasa Nyankonton' status.

'Wasa Nyankonton' Loose translation of a sub-chief position has been accorded to Fameye. As a follow up to receiving the title, the ritual ceremony took place over the weekend.

As part of his acceptance speech, Fameye thanked his elders and the entire Wasan community for the elite position accorded to him. He further pledged to prioritize the community's needs, with his main focus being on the upliftment of the youths. 

Fameye in an acceptance speech thanked the chief and elders for the title and also vowed to also continue helping the youths in his capacity.
