New Age Artists Explain Why They Ditched XYZ alongside DJ H-Mac

A while back, former XYZ Entertainment manager DJ H-Mac caused ripples in the industry after pioneering a mass exit of artists who joined his new label, New Age Entertainment.

These artists say that DJ H-Mac never coerced them to leave the label and follow him to New Age.

In a candid interview with ZMB Talks, some of the label’s artists; Elisha Long, DJ Rhys, Mohsin Malik (producer), B Mak, Brawen and Jorzi said that New Age was a representation of talent from different artists in different phases of life.

Each of these artists told Edna, the ZMB Talks host that they followed H-Mac to his new label consciously because they believed in his talent as a manager.

“Everyone had a choice,” DJ Rhys says. Elisha Log adds that “I did it on my own personal terms. So my personal terms is that I have got a manager that I believe in that I feel has a proper meaning for my career.”

Malik, the resident producer at New Age says they have a lot to offer fans. The label is giving fans a new sound with fresh content as a paradigm shift from what has been produced and churned out to the market for years without much change.

DJ Rhys says they are ready to do the leg work to elevate the status of New Age Entertainment despite the drama surrounding it all.
