Mdundo weekly notes and highlights

Music makes the world go round and connects people across all boarders. This statement was clearly manifested through the Mdundo TOP10 daily charts this week.
After signing up artists from Tanzania, they took over the charts the whole week with Tanzanian bad boy of rap Nikki Mbishi having a total of four songs on Monday's chart, which rarely happens.
‘Yote Sawa’ managed to be at the top of the chart all week long only to be kicked off yesterday by Kanana’s ‘Ni Mapenzi Tu’ featuring Rabbit.
This week also saw the conclusion of the long awaited Grandpa Records auditions for ‘Fimbo Ya Tatu’ where six finalists were selected and will get their shot at going mainstream.
The TOP25 chart as always had its fair share of new songs with some artists making a debut into the chart for the first time.
