Zambian Hip-hop star Cleo Ice Queen has been nominated for an All Africa Music Award (AFRIMA) 2021.
She landed a nomination under the Best Female Artiste in Southern Africa category. Cleo will battle it out with Zimbabwe’s Sha Sha, DJ Zinhle, Busiswa and Shekina.

Others are South Africa’s queens of music Nomcebo Zikode, Makhadzi, Kamp Mphela, Zanda Zakuza and Zimbabwe’s Tamy Moyo.
The AFRIMA Awards ceremony is scheduled to be held on November 19 to November 21 in Lagos, Nigeria.
Cleo Ice Queen released her dope single ‘Osaibala’ in August. The song won hearts among hip hop fans with her lyrical prowess. With ‘Osiabala’, Cleo’s musical vibe is without a doubt hitting differently with her lyrical prowess and powerful message.

“I am confident, you can call me cocky but I am confident, if it dripping dropping then I am rocking it…” the song’s lyrics read in part.
Cleo dedicated the song to those who describe themselves as Hip-hop diehards. “You asked for more HIP HOP so here it is. For the hip hop heads, the pioneers and the confident ones!!” she posTed on her Instagram page.
