Where the party at this weekend!!

As we gear ourselves to celebrate Kenya at 50, we need to keep the spirit of patriotism and element of togetherness alive and what a better way to do this than through music.

Here are some of the events you should have marked on your calendar and definately attend;

When was the last time you listed to some live Taarabu and Chakacha from the Kenyan coast? Well Thursday Nite Live at Choices is the place to be today .Hailing from Watamu in Malindi, Mr. Bado will be live on stage ready to give you a thrilling performance. With hits such as ‘Shemeji’ and ‘Susumila’ this is definitely one performance not to miss.
The event starts at 8pm- 11.

Tonight you can also enjoy some great music at Nairobi Live ,Tree House Club the theme being ‘Afro Asia Night.’ Come and enjoy music from Asili Dub who will be having their debut performance, Jahm a filipino world reggae fusionist and Afro Simba.
event starts at 7pm till late and Entrance is free.

Over the weekend you can catch up with the Afro project band at Tamambos Village market, starting from 8:30 pm. Go enjoy a pleasant evening with their harmonious melodic sounds.
Entrance is 300 Ksh.

At the Kenya National Theatre on this Sunday the 17th a concert dubbed ‘Flamenco on Fusion’ with world renowned guitarist Ricardo Garcia. Special collaboration with ‘Zakale za’ and Aaron Colreson (Violin), Nathan Okite (Electric Guitar) and Kirit Pattni (Flate) will be taking place.

Entry is 800 for adults and 500 for students.
