Celebrated Kenyan artist Bahati has released a new song dubbed ‘Wewe Ni Mungu’ off his latest album ‘Love Like This’.
‘Wewe Ni Mungu’ is a gospel song in which Bahati gives God all the glory and praise for His blessings to him and all of mankind.
Expounding on the grace of God in his life, Bahati attributes everything he has including; name, love, fame, beautiful wife and haters who motivate him to do even better, to God.
The video is well-directed and features Bahati singing with a choir who melodiously harmonize with him.
‘Wewe Ni Mungu has been received well and is already trending on YouTube at number four with over a hundred thousand views.
Reacting to the message in the song, fans took to the comment section to share personal stories of how God has been faithful in their lives through the years.
“This song got me in tears. Life could be cruel sometimes and we end up seeking refuge in all different directions. But when God's time is due, we are brought back to His good grace and remember the far we've come from and the only thing is left of us to do is be Thankful for His unceasing love,”one fan noted, with another one adding, “My heart is just melting listening to this song what I have been through and where I am going I have God’s blessings and he is above all.”
Meanwhile, Bahati's previous hit song ‘Pete Yangu’ featuring Nadia Mukami which dropped over a month ago is still a fan favorite and has over 3.9 million views on YouTube.
