Refigah: Fimbo Ya Tatu auditions were a success!!

As expected the ‘Fimbo Ya Tatu’ auditions held by Grandpa Records last night at Club Tribeka was a great success with the club being packed to capacity by fans and participants alike.
Judges for the night DNA, Jo-1 and Libby came in ready for the job and considering the skills and experience they have in the industry only pure talent and skills were going to be considered.
Out of the 77 upcoming artists who auditions, only six were shortlisted with the first four getting the grand chance of being featured in the new ‘Fimbo ya Tatu’ song.They will also get the honors of releasing one song under Grandpa Records.
The four grand prize winners include Tembe Kali, Kapha Price, Lucky Shaz and Shadi .
“The event was successful and everything went well as planned I am very happy with the outcome,” Grandpa Records CEO Refigah told Mdundo.
The label is one of the biggest in the East African region and home to some of the big names in the Kenyan music industry.
