Popular Ugandan artist Quex has teamed up with King Weezy on a new song titled 'Salubala'.

In 'Salubala' (loosely translated from Luganda to mean It doesn't count), Quex  urges his woman to pay him a visit, arguing that he never had enough of her the last time they met.

Listening to the new release, you get to appreciate Quex's lyrical prowess as he uses easy, but catchy lines to describe the relationship he wants to hold onto forever.

He has dedicated this new dancehall jam to all the party lovers who are ready to get to the floor.

‘Salubala’ was produced and mastered at Gagamel International studios by Vad Beats, the brains behind most of Quex's songs.

Reports indicate that the video is underway and could be released soon to maintain the hype that the song is currently enjoying.

Quex became an internet sensation when he released his popular 'Kachumbali' jam over a year ago. However, its video which was released in March 2020, to some extent failed to meet the expectations he had set with the audio.

Speaking during an interview after releasing the video, Quex said he doesn't invest heavily in his music videos because he is restrained by his financial muscle considering that he is still relatively young in the industry.
