Wezi elatedly told her fans via an Instagram post that “Scarlett and I became the first Artists ever to sing the Zambian national anthem at a presidential inauguration ceremony. God is good.”

She dedicated this auspicious day to her late father who would have loved to see her perform at such an event.

“A full Stadium, 60,000+ people present and many watching via different media platforms. Overwhelming but still a rare honor and privilege! I hope my late father was watching too! Cheers to my mother,” she added.

Her fellow artists congratulated her for making such a huge milestone in her career as an artist.

Esther Chungu wrote: “And you were amazing!” while Bombshell Grenade said she was “proud” of her.
