Veteran Hiplife artiste Barima Sidney has highlited the significance of hip-hop artists’ beef as long as it doesn’t escalate to violence. He opines that beef makes the music scene more interesting and it grabs the attention of fans.

Beefing is a silent code in the hip-hop industry and has been in existence since time immemorial. In his two and half decades of expertise in the scene, Barima is divergent of the popular opinion and he's not shy of recognizing the fact that it’s usual for artists to beef lyrically.
