Tip Swizzy Drops Debut Album 'Tuvudde Wala' after 13 years in the Industry

Veteran Ugandan artist Tip Swizzy has released his debut album dubbed 'Tuvudde Wala' after 13 years in the music industry.

'Tuvude Wala' (loosely translated from Luganda to mean 'We Have Come From so Far') has a total of 16 songs features artists that include; Young Rasta and Cabo Snoop from Luanda, Angola among others.

The album was unveiled an event attended to by his close friends, family and top artists that include; Geosteady and Gravity Omutujju among others who he says have been instrumental in his music journey.

"Geosteady is the very first person to be close to me at this point in my career even before Eddy Kenzo because he is my close friend who helped me work on my breakthrough song 'Bolingo'. He gave me a pass to the studio when I wasn't allowed in and we shared a room for close to two years," Tip Swizzy was quoted.

Complementing Tip Swizzy's for the new milestone, Gravity Omutujju said he’s impressed by Swizzy’s progress, adding that he’ll continue supporting him in every way possible.

"He was my friend from the time I was very broke and supported me. I can't help but support him at this point in his career," Gravity Omutujju said.

Tip Swizzy got his big breakthrough while he was signed under Eddy Kenzo's Big Talent. However, after their split, he started his record label dubbed Helicopter entertainment with an aim of covering more ground.
