Ugandan artist Ykee Benda has released a brand new song titled 'Obangaina' to refresh 90s memories.

In 'Obangaina', Ykee Benda puts himself in the shoes of the woman who questions the whereabouts of his partner. The original version of Obangaina was released back in the 90's by one of the best music band legends, Racheal Magoola from the Eastern side of Uganda, Busoga.

If you enjoyed Magoola's version, you are definitely in for a treat with Ykee Benda's latest release. He brings it back to life with unique beats and guitars from Myco Ouma.

Audio was produced by Mpaka Records' Kraizy Beats. The song comes off Ykee Benda's recently released, second studio album dubbed 'Kirabo'. The album features top African artists including; Tekno Miles, Gaz Mawete, Kiff No Beat, Messias Maricoa, Yvan Buravan, BM, Uncle Austin Dre Cali and Lydia Jazmine.

The album he says, was an appreciation to his fans who have supported him throughout his music journey.

“This album has been an exciting challenge to me. I wanted to show the world what I am made of, from what my fans were used to and show them new sounds and genres. I wanted to do something for everyone,” he said while launching the album.
