South African House DJ and producer Prince Kaybee has hit out at fellow artists for failing to invest in the people who give them value. Although he did not single out any artiste, it was an indirect attack on rapper Cassper Nyovest.

Cassper recently launched a shoe line which is seemingly doing great. Owever, Kaybee feels  Cassper behaved like many other artists who forget their fans and channel their energy on people who do not give them value.

“Another thing about celebrities is the disconnect to the fans, they can’t seem to put back value where they got it from. For instance you give away samples to celebrity friends and never to the people that bring the value, so now it creates a talking point but never an impact,” Kaybee said as bad blood between him and Cassper escalates.

He gave an illustration of Sandton and Alexandra where the rich live, yet poverty reigns supreme on the opposite side.

“Its basically like Sandton and Alexandra, you work the land of the rich but don’t benefit from it although it is just across the street from you.”

Cassper did not take his comments lying down. He told Kaybee off saying his shoe line is doing well.

“Sa gago ke go bua marete ka nna. Sign the boxing contract, get the clout from me knocking you’re a** out or make a hit. The tweets ain't gon make you more famous or more money. My shoe is doing well, I have the biggest song in the country and I can't wait to knock you out o marete!!” Cassper responded.
