Celebrated Zambian musician Bobby east has released a new jam dubbed ‘Toxic’ featuring Kantu.

‘Toxic’ is all about toxic relationships. Bobby captures the beginning of toxicity in the song which is unfaithfulness. It is a thorn in the flesh in real life. But, he brings it out beautifully in a rhythm many of his fans haven’t heard of before because of his hip-hop portfolio.
However, ‘Toxic’ is a completely different beat. It is a medium beat RnB hit song with great voices on board.
Kantu completes the equation with her amazing vocals. She is deep, charismatic and so charming that you play the music for minutes on end. And the toxic love in question ends up in near suicide that Kantu hits pretty hard with her powerful voice.

In general, ‘Toxic’ is a lesson-packed hit by Zambian pop stars on why the dangers of sticking to a draining relationship.
On this one, Bobby East proved he is versatile and can adopt different music styles despite being known for his hip-hop style. Kantu also made a beautiful come back with the song after releasing ‘Fragile Heart’ where she spoke of a toxic love.
In a past interview, she revealed that events in her love life there before inspired the song. And the XYZ CEO wasn’t wrong picking her for such an amazing collabo.
