UPDATE: How Artists' Payments Will Be Done In January 2015

As the year 2014 comes to an end, Mdundo is about to take up the task of giving back to its artists; one of the sole reasons for our existence. If you’re an artist signed with us then you ought to know that the next billing period is on the 10^th January of 2015, and on this date you will be getting your respective royalties according to your downloads. Kindly refer to the instructions and information below for a deeper understanding on the matter:  

How Mdundo Works:

1. Sign up and upload your music to Mdundo.com here: www.mdundo.com/in/signup.

2. Your fans can easily download your music from Mdundo.com.

3. You can check how many downloads you have under "stats" here: www.mdundo.com/in/stats 

4. Mdundo generate revenue from advertisement on the site and in the songs, exactly like a radio station.

5. Every 6th month Mdundo will pay you a share of the revenue generated based on how many downloads you have.

Artist Payments: 

1. Mdundo pays every 6th month (January 10th and July 10th).You can check how much you've earned on January 1st and July 1stunder "stats" here: www.mdundo.com/in/stats
2. Mdundo pay you through Mobile Money. Always updated you payment details under "Payout Info" here:www.mdundo.com/in/payout.
3. Mdundo pays out only artists that have accumulated over Ksh.50 over a billing period. Amounts lower than Ksh 50 are carried over to the next billing period.
