Nexus Music ft Zambian All-Stars ‘Nasuzika’: New Music Zambia

Days after the funeral of Zambia’s founding father Dr Kenneth Kaunda, Nexus Music has remembered all families in Zambia left by their loved ones. Nexus in partnership with Zambian music legends has released a tribute song dubbed ‘Nasuzika’ to encourage all bereaved families.

‘Nasuzika’ features Wezi, Chef 187, Mumba Yachi, B Flow, James Sakala and Maureen Lilanda.

In a statement, Nexus said the song is meant to honour all departed icons who inspired Zambian beyond measure.

“Nexus Music Entertainment Ltd has partnered with legends of the Zambian music industry to make this beautiful tribute song not only to KK and the icons we’ve lost but also to the Zambian citizens who have passed away,” part of the statement reads.

It added: “Many families have been left in grief during these sad times and this song was made to comfort the bereaved and is a dedication to all our dearly departed loved ones. We celebrate their lives and this masterpiece is made in loving memories of them.”

‘Nasuzika’ will be part of Nexus’ tribute album that the label has put together.

Over the past few weeks, a section of Zambian artists have been independently releasing tribute songs for the late Kaunda. Among them is Xaven, Neo, Shanaah, Afuniko, T-Sean among others.
