Celebrated Ugandan Soul musician Maurice kirya has dropped the visuals to his new jam titled 'Kulunaku Olwo' off his 'Beyond Myself' album which dropped in September, 2019.

In 'Kulunaku Olwo' (loosely translated from Luganda to mean 'On That Day'), Maurice Kirya triggers the listeners' emotions as he goes down the memory lane of love so pure and true.
According to Maurice Kirya, no one else knows exactly what the song means apart from himself (the writer of the song) because it was written and performed in a way that was meant to evoke the deepest emotions of the listener.
"So, What do you feel when you listen to this song?" Maurice Kirya questioned.

The lovely lyrics were composed and penned down by Maurice Kirya, the audio was produced by Samuel Bisaso and the visuals shot in Rwanda and directed by Tristan Shema.
‘Kulunaku Olwo’ has been received well with fans praising Maurice for the amazing video.
Other tracks in ‘Beyond Myself’ album include; To Love You, After Saturday, Gimme Light, So Cold, Kulunaku Olwo, Echoes, Little Doll, Slow Down and Remember Me.
Speaking after releasing the album, Maurice revealed that it was inspired by the tragic events he went through in 2016 where he nearly died.
"The year 2016 was one of the roughest years of my life, but also a very inspiring year, I learned new perspectives on love, hate, sex, family, laughter, darkness, friends, society, grief, humans and spirituality, all in so little time. Little did I know this life's cocktail would inspire my album ‘Beyond Myself'. It is so nice to know I've created something that will meet the right ears, the hearts that are in need of this craft," Maurice Kirya posted on his social media pages.
