Renowned Kenyan artist Jovial has dropped a new jam dubbed ‘Usiku Mmoja’ featured Tanzanian musician Darassa.

‘Usiku Mmoja’ is an upbeat love song in which the two talented artists sing about having one special night without being in a real relationship.

Expounding on the hookup culture which has become very common in the country, Jovial translates that culture and delivers her edgy and daring side in this upbeat instrumental which was produced by Vicky Pon Dis.

Darassa on the other hand is clearly in for the ride, as he places his verse skillfully warning Jovial on getting strings attached in his words.

The visuals which were directed by Hanscana take us through a wild party scene where Jovial joins her dancers to deliver well-choreographed sensual dance moves.

‘Usiku Mmoja’ which was released a few hours ago is already flying high with over 10,000 views on YouTube in just a short amount of time.

In addition to the views, fans also took to the comment section to praise Jovial and Darassa for delivering a hit; with others noting that Jovial is currently flying at the top of her game.

Meanwhile, her previous feature ‘Some Kinda Love’ by Otile Brown is still one of the most successful jams of 2021. The jam which was released over a month ago currently has over five million views on YouTube.
