Daddi Wise ‘Amani’ : New Music Uganda [Official Video]

Talented Ugandan artist Daddi Wise has dropped a new video dubbed Amani’.

‘Amani’ is a jam that spreads a message of love and peace to Ugandans, encouraging them to be supportive of one another as they are all brothers and sisters.

To make it more relevant to the audience, the song was written in English and Buganda.

‘‘You’re my brother, don’t kill me, my sister doesn’t hurt me. So we follow the love. United we stand, divided we fall…” the song’s lyrics read in part.

In the video, Wise has featured artists like Lydia Jazmine, John Blaq, Rafiki, Vivian Tendo, and Fik Fameica who are seen waving Uganda’s national flag as a sign of their patriotism to the country. 

The video also features a fight between two people which was quickly resolved by a third party showing the importance of peace. The video was shot on the streets of Kampala,  Uganda.

The song which premiered two days ago has been well received in Uganda, securing thousands of views since its release. Fans have commented under the video appreciating the message. “Peace, peace ...Thank you stars.’’Birungi Shalom said.

“A great dedication to the rulers of Uganda.Thank you, Dadi wise. If you have nothing to die for, then you equally have nothing to live for. We are living in abnormal tymz,’’ Prince Bwambale opined.
