NEW MUSIC: King Shukid Reveals His Empire State Of Mind In New Single, King Shyt

As was promised, Shukid has released yet another single "King ShYt" off his "Gods Speed" EP after his show at the Lovers & Friends event that was held at Club Hypnotica over the weekend. Unlike the first single "You Had Me (Feat. Teach)", this is a more laid back but raw side of Shukid as he tries to reveal to people what he deems as a Kings state of mind.

 

Produced by GnX, Shukid delivers smooth and easy to vibe with delivery throughout the verse, 

 

"I like to challenge myself and try defying musical norms as I work on new material. Each time I try doing something I haven't done before myself. On You Had Me I tried playing with the hook distribution, on King ShYt I played with verse lengths and repetition. Regular 16's and hooks doesn't excite me any more..." is what Shukid had to say regarding the song and entire EP. 

"The greatest thing about working in ID37Music is that you're allowed to display your own artistic creativity. There are no limitations at all", he added.

 Although the label hasn't come to the final conclusion, "King ShYt" maybe one of the songs that will also appear on the "Young King"album set to be released in 2015. "Gods Speed", set to be released before the end of 2014 is a short 8 track EP in which he has 7 collaborations, 2 from acts out of the country, making "King ShYt" the only single he did alone.
