VIDEO REVIEW: Fans Two Cents On Rabbit's 'Leta'
5 December 2014
Barely three days old, Rabbit’s latest video ‘Leta’ is playing it cards right gathering over 5000 views on YouTube so far and people are doing more than just listening, they are talking! And here’s what some have to say:
“This is a totally good move on Rabbit’s side. See most people I included had forgotten that he can have a bit of fan because of his deep conscious lyrics. ‘Leta’ had me going nuts! Simple, but definitely a hit.” Aired an aficionado
“The beat is pretty lame; nothing but noise. But then the lyrics are like Jesus- they saved everything! madame wanapita, nawastudy ka shule..chipo kando, nawafunga ka shoe lace..gangstar, but na dance na Sesube....Number Leta,Waiter Leta Oyaaah Change Leta mdogo mdogo. Rabbit simply shows how good he is by using regular beats and making a hit out of it.” Added a music enthusiast
“The wordplay is space bound. I mean I had to rewind over and over in awe of the lyrics. This guy according to my books, he is the best lyricist in Eastern Africa. The video is also very point specific; a party song with a party crowd. He also throws In the theatricals with the scene of the drunk guy which shifts attention into the particular lyrics. I love this song. Big up Pacho, and Kaka Empire” shares a huge rabbit fan
The video is the handy works of Sync media and like always they deliver like a midwife would do; Crystal clarity and perfect crowd management. For a Friday this is the jam you need to jam to.
