Anjella Explains Why She Performed Zuchu’s Sukari Hit During her Unveiling by Konde Worldwide

Konde Worldwide singer Anjella has set the record straight over her decision to perform 'Sukari' by WCB's Zuchu during her unveiling despite the existing rivalry between the two labels.

Speaking during a recent interview, Anjella said that there is no big deal about the incident considering she is a big fan of Zuchu. According to Anjella, the management asked her to pick songs she’d sing at the party and ‘Sukari’ being one of her favorites songs, had to land on the list.

The singer said the management approved the list without any hesitation; indicating that Konde Worldwide allows musicians to make decisions independently.

“Maswali ni mengi sana kuhusu huu wimbo. Niliambiwa nichague nyimbo ambazo nataka kuperfom. Niliperfom nyimbo zote management ilipitisha...maswali yalikuwa mengi kutoka kwa mashabili na ni nyimbo ninaoupenda, mbono nijibane?" she posed.

Anjella added that despite the rivalry between WCB and Konde Worldwide, she is open to working with Zuchu since she is among the top musicians in the region at the moment.

Meanwhile, Harmonize recently slammed those criticizing Anjella for singing Zuchu’s song, noting that the latter is young in the industry and needs support.
