Mdundo weekly notes and highlights

The first week in the new month of November has seen Mdundo move a notch higher by signing up some phenomenal artists into the platform this includes the first artist to be signed on Chocolate City under their new East African Arm Victoria Kimani, and top Kenyan Gospel artist Gloria Muliro

This week also saw a historical occurrence in the top 25 charts whereby for the first time ever there were more than 5 new songs debuting into the chart, Kanana however maintaining her lead.

Some notable new song releases for the week include Mejja’s Mitoke ,which surprisingly after only a few hours of being on the platform took the top spot this morning on the top ten charts.

The battle for the top 3 spots has been a constant battle between 'Ni Mapenzi tu' by Kanana featuring Rabbit, 'Love Gone Bananas' by Eko Dydda and Machozi by upcoming gospel bongo artist Bahati with his song 'Machozi'
