Niyo Bosco Drops New Song ‘Ubutsinzi’ Encouraging Victims of Covid-19

In a show of solidarity and encouragement to those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, Rwandan musician Niyo Bosco has released a new jam dubbed Ubutsinzi’ featuring Aime.

In the new release, he celebrates and encourages those who have lost loved ones, businesses and jobs due to the pandemic, calling them heroes.

Be Encouraged by Psalms 118:14

“You've spent a lot of time sitting on a chair of poverty but you still sat in it as a wealthy person you and your offspring have hustled together the futile grind you neglected your burdens and focused on your benedictions sweating over your worth has made you a ransom for your life Patience became your apparel and there are many you've set an example for your faith has portrayed for you an image for life that compels us to respect you, you’re heroes,” the song’s lyrics read in part.

Niyo Bosco further notes that even though the pandemic may cause low self-esteem and other stigma related issues on the victims, they should endeavor to remain strong at all times.

The Covid-19 pandemic has left thousands of people dead across the continent and many others jobless due to restrictions put in place to curb the virus.
