Alpha Rwirangira Honors His Late Mother in Emotional Song ‘Nimengi’

Rwandan singer Alpha Rwirangira has released a new jam dubbed ‘Nimengi’ payng tribute to her late mother.

In ‘Nimengi’, he remembers all the great things she did for him and the love she showered him with. This, to him, is something he will never forget.
‘Nimengi’ is a cool Swahili song. It is soft in nature and sends a passionate message in a soothing way.

Alpha credits his success in life to his late mother who, he believes, always watches over him.
“Mungu ametuma malaika walio ni inua nilipo angukaa Nabado wananiongoza ndio maana najikongoja Ona shule nimemaliza Hata kuoa nina karibia Natamani ungekuwepo Ukasherekea Nyota yangu ya mziki naona nayo inang’ara Mashabiki wanaongezeka Wanazidi kuni inua Baba anakukumbuka kweli alinipigania Ila kwa yote namshukuru aliye nilinda,” the song’s lyrics read in part.
The song came as the world marked the International Women’s Day. For Alpha, he decided to honour the late mum with a beautiful song full of hope and one that inspires fans from across the world.
Berry Lee Ken from Kenya said “I’m from Kenya… Thank you for this song.. love you…God bless you abundantly… I miss my mother too.. Zawadi Bora added “You the one man You never disappoint ur fans We love you brother Mungu azidi kukutendea mema.” (Sic).
