She released the song last week and it went viral. Since then, Deborah has been a hot subject of debate in Zambia.

She has been branded the “Nicki Minaj” of Zambia due to the nature of her song. Hours after she released the song, she got thousands of followers on Facebook and it was from here that she booked her place in the industry.

Recently though, she was overwhelmed by a string of questions when she attempted to have a one-on-one session with her fans on Facebook.

On May 9, she posted “You can ask me questions am available to reply.”

Fans took the opportunity to known her better but were disappointed that she did not respond to any of their questions.

Many of them wanted to know about her background, where she comes from as an artiste and what inspired her to write ‘Yalibapenya’ but it all went unanswered.

Feeling dejected by Deborah’s silence, some fans took the unfamiliar route and gave her a dress down.

“Your music is useless such type of music won't take you anywhere…I hate your videos even your music just be singing normal not Ubupuba bulya tulemona this not a question it an advise,” one of the fans stated angrily.

Another one added: “Problem with your music can't be played in a well-respected home. Can u pliz tell us what u were thinking to come up with imputi?...”

Earlier, she apologized for the use of the word “impute” which translates to derriere in English. She said that there is nothing much she can do since the song is already out.
