As the world marked International Women’s Day, Zambian songbird Mampi Queen Diva celebrated all mothers in the world in a beautiful tribute titled ‘Amama’.

She released the new song on May 9 when the world celebrated this auspicious day. Mampi in the song celebrates all departed mothers and recognizes the big role they continue to play in the lives of the children.

She says that though they left the world, they will live to be remembered for not only bringing beautiful people in the world but also teaching them how to survive storms.

“A song dedicated to all the mothers we have lost. May their souls rest in peace,” she posted on her YouTube page.

On her Instagram page, she added: “Today is Mother's Day and I'm sharing with you this song for all our mothers in heaven we love and miss you deeply. May their souls continue resting in peace till we meet again.”
Mampi’s song got a lot of love and support from Zambian artistes who led fans in thanking her for remembering mothers.
OC Oscillation told Mampi: “love u Queen !!” while Cleo Icequeen added more love to her reply.
Bombshell Grenade termed the song “very beautiful”.
Her fans led by Victor Muwadia said that “To the mom, who bears all the pain and faces all the difficulties just to make me happy and comfortable, wish you a heartfelt Mother’s Day.”
Gaster Malupande stated that “I wish mum was here to see how a small boy he left had grown to a responsible man RIP mum much love missed u.”
