“It is very unfair especially producers these days. Remember, for us who made music at a certain time our music, the artist’s music was always attached to us. You knew that Chameleon the producer was bravo. You knew it. You knew Exile the producer was TK you know but I feel like Zambia music went or rather the studio setups went into a space where the access to produce music became so easy so you found now that artiste would jump one studio to another a small studio here, a small studio there,” he said.

“Artistes were not respecting the studios. They could go from one studio to another and then the producers that started coming up didn’t have that say to be able to say listen, I am gonna need my credit,” he added

Chai says that in yester years, there were a lot of structures for a producer to learn professionally, but the millennial era has wreaked havoc in the studios with ineptness. He says this has to be corrected and producers credited for their good work.
