Award winning singer, songwriter and actress, Avril will this Friday 30th April 2021 release a new album titled ‘Spirit’. 30th April is also Avril’s birthday so she will have a lot to celebrate.

‘Spirit’ album is a sensual and calm storm of emotions in a universe plagued by unrequited love, coexisting, battling, surviving, and finding your inspiration, love and happiness.

“We live, learn and Love,” Avril said while describing the album.
Many of the songs’ choruses have lyrical hooks and rhymes to sing along to.

The album also has a twist where Avril “went to church" with a praise song just to give the much-needed inspiration as we all go through this pandemic.
‘Spirit’ is a 12-song diverse album; inspiration, love songs, Dance, Reggae, some Kikuyu and many more.
The songs in the album include; Gikeno, For You, Promise, We na Mi, Spirit ft Savara, Clown ft Pryshon, Vibes, Low Key ft Mbithi, Don't Go, and Tumpambe among others.
Gikeno’s video will be released at midday this Friday 30th April 2021 on her YouTube channel.
‘Spirit’ was produced by SoFresh who established great musical continuity and mastered by the Grammy Award winning Producer Trevor.
