Fena Hosts ‘Fenamenal Black and Gold Live Concert’ as She Celebrates Her 31st Birthday [Video]

Celebrated Kenyan artist Fena Gitu alias Fenamenal on Sunday night held a Black and Gold Live concert to celebrate her 31st birthday. Fena opened the concert in an iconic way, by celebrating life with a heartfelt tribute to the pain we have all experienced as a country in the past year due to the current pandemic.

In the 45-minute concert, Fena graced us with authentic performances which gave us a chance to experience her vocal range as she performed with her band. Fena also spared some time to answer some hot burning questions, which included her music creation process.

“I don’t have a specific process, I think I just go with the vibe, depending on how am feeling at that moment or if there is a story that I am trying to tell, pretty much as long as I am just in the zone, yeah, it flows,” she explained.

She also gave a little insight of her family, who she revealed are also singers as well.

“Am raised in a musical family, my mum who’s here is a singer my sister is a classically trained singer, so have grown up around music, I think my first memory would be singing in church,” she revealed.

The concert which was attended by thousands of viewers via different online platforms received praise from fans who commended Fena for a job well done as they wished her a happy birthday.
