This competition is aimed at offering upcoming Ugandan musicians with an opportunity to showcase and develop their talent on a national platform.
Pallaso and Toniks have been selected as influencers and coaches that will help spot talent during the competition.
"I'm here to see how I can help, as an influencer on board and one of my roles is to mentor the participants in boot camps and spotting talent. I'm so happy to be here and I feel this is the right place for me to be as a musician and we are ready to raise stars and instill pride in the young talent," Pallaso said.

On his part, Toniks said: “We are glad that the government has finally recognized this and we are willing to work alongside them to build the industry. I will be able to use my experience in music production, as an artist, live performance, playing instruments to guide and spot talent," Toniks said.
The star search is slated for 9th April, 2021 and will run until July 2021.
