While the year looks like it's been a little bit slow with albums and music projects, the second quarter of the year might just make up for that as April is coming with a number of albums that music fans are very well looking forward to.

Narrowing this list to five; below is Nigerian albums to look forward to this april.

The Prodigal Album (Mr P)

Coming April 2nd, The Prodigal is Mr P’s debut album as a solo artist. Moving on from the now defunct music group Psquare, Mr P has worked his way up from the scratch and now he’ll be looking to making a more firm statement with The Prodigal album.

Housing 16 tracks, The Prodigal album features Wande Coal, Ovikelz, Singah, DJ Switch and Mohombi. Well, from the singles already released from the project, we expect this one to be a hit.

Rum & Boogie (Peruzzi)

Fans have been waiting for this album since November 2020 and now come April 9 the Rum & Boogie album will finally arrive.

Packed with 20 tracks Rum & Boogie is a double project in one with Rum being side A and Boogie side B.

The Rum & Boogie album features Davido, Tiwa Savage, Phyno, Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, Fireboy DML, Patoranking, Boylexxy and Set Up.

Sex > Love (Blaqbonez)

Known for his aggressive promotion style on social media, Blaqbonez has built a fan base for himself by not just releasing good music but also the type of content he chooses to promote his records with. It's rare to see artists that put in that much work to promote their materials by themselves with unique contents.

Coming April 30, Blaqbonez is using the Sex > Love album to push his highly held opinion that love is highly overrated and that sex is too good to have to enjoy it with only one person.

The Sex > Love album contains 14 songs which includes previously released records Haba and the Tiwa Savage featured single, BBC.

Greatest Lord (Sinach)

Something for gospel music lovers, yes!! A new Sinach album is coming April 2nd. 13 tracks of spirit lifting records, what else is it to ask for!

The Greatest Lord album also features some high profile gospel acts like Panam Percy Paul and Nathaniel Bassey.

Hallelujah Again (Nathaniel Bassey)

Another one for gospel music lovers. Gospel music veteran and minister, Nathaniel Bassey is coming with a brand new album titled “Hallelujah Again” come April 1.
