Kenyan popstar Victoria Kimani joins Mdundo

Victoria Kimani has officially joined the Mdundo team. The pop singer who is the first artist to be signed on Chocolate City under their new East African Arm has gained massive popularity and a large number of fans in Nigeria mainly based on the fact that she spent most of her teenage years there and of course you can’t deny her talent too.

Identifiable to most Kenyans as the younger sister to Bamboo and Kimya Miyaki, Victoria recently released her debut mix tape titled ‘Queen Victoria’ that has a total of 19 songs including one which she featured her two brothers.

The mix tape boasts a reggae-centric feel to it and definitely has the appeal and power to make you get on your feet and groove to the amazing rhythms.

Victoria’s mad talent and hard work ethic seem to be paying off as she got nominated twice at the Channel O Africa Music Video Awards this year under the categories of most gifted newcomer for her song 'Mtoto' and most gifted R&B video for her song 'Oya' which features MI.
