DDT and Stonebwoy Speaks on Ghana Music Industry

Ghanaian Producer Elijah Nortey Thompson who is known publicly by his stage name as DDT has acknowledged
that the Ghana Music Industry has improved compared to previous years.
The music producer explained that unlike many previous years, artistes these days pay more attention to
their management team which has highly and positively contributed especially to the artiste’s stagecraft.
Speaking with Alltunezgh, DDT hinted that multiple rehearsals by artists and their management team
have also contributed to the improvement of the music industry.
Asked why musicians find it difficult to perform with live bands, he explained that, the difficulty
associated with live bands is due to the training the artiste gets from his or her team.
“You can’t blame the artiste entirely, a manager who wants his or her artiste to be versatile should be able
to train such an artiste from the onset” he added.
On the same topic, Stonebwoy also appreciated the support from Ghana Industry for who he is to this date. “I
personally appreciate the support of the industry but asthe saying goesthere’s more room for
improvement”. Stonebwoy revealed thisin an interview with JoyNews’ Becky.
Stonebwoy saysthat he’sstill working on new projects and that he is working hard to push the
Ghanaian music industry.
