Time is one of the most unforgiving elements in the universe. There’s no way we can turn back the hands of time, only sit and wait the ride to end. But, there are a few who are able to defy the god of time and prove time impotent. In the music scene, there are artists who have lived in the past and still come back in the same time span and managed to rock it equally as they did before. l Below are some artists who have made a comeback this year:
He was there when the foundation of Kenyan music was being laid and got to do music alongside the late E-sir and went ahead to make endless hits. He came back with the ‘B4IR’ album which he said would be his last before he retires. And after listening to the album, I can say the hiatus was worth it.
Another legend who helped laid the bricks of the Kenyan industry alongside Nameless. His vocal prowess made him a household name and after a break so long that it almost triggered memory loss, he made his comeback with 'Randa Randa' and the world broke into a celebration!
With a self praise song that had the entire nation singing along like it was the national anthem, ‘Big Pin’ , lived in an era where Kenyan music was appreciated and got to taste the fruits. He made a comeback recently with 'One Girl' and by the look of things, he might just go back to the top of the pyramid.
This bodacious singer took the world with a bang with her silky voice and looks that would have a rock curl up. She went away for what would call ‘a minute’ and recently came back with ‘Nikimuona’ and made the comeback even bigger by joining Mdundo.
