Zimbabwean RnB singer Hillzy could not imagine that his Chisikana Extended Play would one day book him a prestigious award in the Zimbabwe Music Award.
It was held a month ago and he won in the Best RnB category courtesy of the EP that he released in 2020.

Chisikana had 10 tracks, two of which he featured Amapiano queen Sha Sha (Goodbye) and the other he featured Gemma Griffiths with Premiere.
The EP was a big deal for Zimbabwe especially due to its diversity and a blend of magical voices in it.

In February, Hillzy officially released “Premiere” featuring Gemma and it was a great song.
‘Premiere’ is a classic African song with international standards. The beats of the song have a deep American undertone, so does the video.
‘Premiere’ is premised on the love and commitment of a family, especially parental love for the children.

“People say a lotta things that they don’t mean, But when I saw you girl it all just dawned on me You are the true love that I seek ohhhh You’re nothing short of a fantasy yeah Love you like my whole life depends on it Spend some bands on ya USD, British Pounds and some Rands for ya Audemar on your wrist - Gucci bag for you You’re my pride, get you Prada - get a chain for you Oooouuuhh Ooooouhhhh Uuuuhhhh Oooohhhh Oooohhhh Ouuuhhhh,” the song’s lyrics read in part.

Gemma comes in with great prophecies intertwined in a life lesson which is for kids not seeking validation to become as great as they could become.
“People say you're only worthy if you be more like them, the world an Insta-Perfect-Queen But baby do you know you are everything - can be anything Don't need no validation or editing Cuz God went and He drew you And He already knew you by name,” Gemma sung.
