Following the death of Tanzania President John Magufuli, several musicians have come together to pay tribute to the leader. This article looks at bongo acts who used music to remember the departed leader.
Lala Salama - Tanzania All Stars
This project was put together by WCB's Diamond Platnumz the night the death was announced. In this 11-minutes masterpiece, at least ten musicians from different genres showcased their style and versatility while sticking to the message of paying tribute.
Wosia wa magufuli - Ali Kiba
King Kiba was not left behind either, using his talent to pay tribute to Magufuli. Interestingly, the lyrics of this song are from one of Magufuli's famous speeches.
Ahsante Magufuli - Konde Worldwide Artists
Harmonize also rallied his troops to remember Magufuli. This track, full of emotions, saw the Konde Gang thank the departed leader for his contribution to the art scene
