Apart from apologizing and promising not to produce any dirty content again, Magix also requested Gengetone artists to join him in producing clean content inorder to save the Kenyan music industry.
“Gengetone musicians, they need to do clean content, coz manze industry yetu manze imeharibika, na am not saying this kama msee ana joke ama msee anatafuta kenye mnasemanga clout or anything, this is real. Wasanii wameharibu watoto, watoto wameharibika huku nje,” he added.
Magix is not the first artist to apologize this year. He joins Willy Paul who also apologized about a week ago for releasing dirty content in 2020. His apology came after his latest jam dubbed ‘Fall in Love’ which is a love song trended for weeks on YouTube.

In an Instagram post, Willy Paul explained to his fans that he had previously thought that being nasty would sell his music.

“For the longest time, I thought that being nasty was the way to go. That being nasty would make my music sell. I've come to realize that good music is what people really want!! And this year I promise nothing but the best, we just getting started. Thank you for making us trend at #1 for 2 days now. Please forgive me for releasing dirty content in 2020. New year new beginning. Back to factory settings,” he posted.
